6 Best Alternatives to the REOLINK 5MP PoE Outdoor Dome (2026)

How Each Alternative Compares

Amcrest 5MP Vandal-Resistant PoE Dome Camera

The Amcrest 5MP Vandal-Resistant PoE Dome Camera matches the original resolution but removes smart detection features. It focuses on durable, static monitoring for exposed outdoor areas where vandalism is a concern. The physical design is slightly larger and heavier than the Reolink model, which may affect mounting options. You give up person, vehicle, and animal alerts in favor of rugged construction. This camera suits users who prioritize physical durability over intelligent alerts. It is ideal for locations where remote movement tracking is unnecessary. The PoE connectivity remains consistent, simplifying installation similarly to the original. You should pick this if you need a tough camera for high-risk zones without needing advanced analytics.

Vonnision 5MP PTZ Outdoor Dome Camera

The Vonnision 5MP PTZ Outdoor Dome Camera adds optical zoom and pan capabilities that the original fixed lens lacks. This allows you to cover a wider area and zoom in on details remotely. The camera is slightly larger and heavier, which requires more robust mounting hardware. You gain flexibility in monitoring but lose the simple, static field of view of the Reolink. This option fits users who need optical zoom and broad pan coverage with existing NVR infrastructure. It is a solid choice for detailed outdoor monitoring where storage efficiency matters. The PoE connection ensures stable power and data transmission. Choose this if you need to track moving subjects or inspect distant areas without physically adjusting the camera.

Amcrest 2MP 25x Optical Zoom PTZ PoE Camera

The Amcrest 2MP 25x Optical Zoom PTZ PoE Camera prioritizes long-range zoom and AI tracking over maximum resolution. It has a lower resolution than the original 5MP model, which may affect close-up clarity. However, the 25x optical zoom allows you to monitor large areas from a distance effectively. The camera is significantly heavier and larger, requiring sturdy installation. You gain advanced tracking capabilities and range but sacrifice pixel density. This model suits buyers who prioritize range and intelligence over maximum resolution. The PoE connectivity supports reliable power and data flow. Pick this if you need to cover expansive outdoor spaces and value automated tracking features over high-resolution static images.

Real HD 4MP PoE Turret Camera

The Real HD 4MP PoE Turret Camera offers full-color night vision, a feature not highlighted in the original model. It has a lower resolution than the 5MP Reolink, which may impact detail in bright conditions. The turret form factor provides a fixed-angle view similar to the original dome. This camera fits users who need color clarity in low light and third-party NVR compatibility. It avoids the Reolink ecosystem, which may appeal to those seeking broader integration. The PoE connection ensures straightforward installation. You give up smart person and animal detection for color night vision capabilities. Choose this if fixed-angle monitoring is sufficient and color clarity at night is more important than higher resolution or smart alerts.

HIKJBSET 5MP PoE Outdoor Camera

The HIKJBSET 5MP PoE Outdoor Camera matches the original resolution and adds accurate human detection and color night vision. It includes two-way audio, which the original model also supports. The physical dimensions are slightly different, with a longer length but narrower width. This camera fits users who prioritize accurate human detection and color night vision. It is a practical option for those using PoE networks who want enhanced low-light performance. You gain improved detection accuracy and color clarity while maintaining the same resolution. The PoE connectivity remains consistent for easy installation. Pick this if you need precise human alerts and want to see details in color during nighttime hours without switching ecosystems.

SUNBA Outdoor 4K 20X PTZ Camera

The SUNBA Outdoor 4K 20X PTZ Camera offers significantly higher resolution and optical zoom compared to the original 5MP fixed model. It is larger and heavier, requiring more substantial mounting support. The 4K resolution provides much greater detail, while the 20x zoom allows for long-range surveillance. This camera fits users who need to monitor large outdoor spaces from a distance. You gain robust zoom and tilt capabilities but lose the compact size of the Reolink. The PoE connection ensures stable performance. Choose this if you prioritize optical zoom and 4K clarity over compact size. It is ideal for expansive areas where detailed, distant monitoring is essential and physical space for mounting is available.
