How alternatives compare to Real HD
Vonnision 8MP 5X Optical Zoom PTZ Dome Camera
The Vonnision 8MP 5X Optical Zoom PTZ Dome Camera offers optical zoom capabilities that the Real HD camera lacks. While both provide 8MP resolution and PoE connectivity, the Vonnision model allows you to adjust viewing angles and zoom in on distant subjects. The Real HD camera features a fixed 2.8mm lens with a 105° field of view, making it better for wide-area coverage without moving parts. You should choose the Vonnision if you need flexible targeting and optical zoom. If you prefer a static, wide-angle view with simpler mechanics, the Real HD option remains a solid choice for ONVIF-compatible systems.
Amcrest 5MP Vandal-Resistant PoE Dome Camera
The Amcrest 5MP Vandal-Resistant PoE Dome Camera provides IK10 protection, which is a higher impact resistance rating than what is specified for the Real HD model. Both cameras use PoE and are suitable for outdoor placement. However, the Amcrest offers 5MP resolution, which is lower than the Real HD 8MP 4K clarity. The Real HD camera includes H.265 compression to reduce file sizes, a feature not explicitly listed for the Amcrest. You should pick the Amcrest if vandal resistance is your primary concern and you can accept slightly lower resolution. If you prioritize maximum detail and efficient storage, the Real HD 8MP camera is the better technical fit.
SUNBA Outdoor 4K 20X PTZ Camera
The SUNBA Outdoor 4K 20X PTZ Camera delivers extensive coverage for large properties with 20X optical zoom, a feature the Real HD camera does not have. Both units offer 8MP resolution and PoE connectivity. The SUNBA model is larger, weighing 4 pounds, and includes two-way audio, which is absent from the Real HD specifications. The Real HD camera has a compact 5-inch form factor and a fixed 105° field of view. You should choose the SUNBA if you need to monitor large areas and zoom in on distant details. If you prefer a smaller, fixed-mount camera with a wide static view, the Real HD option is more suitable for your installation.
Amcrest 4K Outdoor PoE Bullet Camera
The Amcrest 4K Outdoor PoE Bullet Camera features an IP67 weather resistance rating, which is superior to the Real HD camera's IP66 rating. Both cameras provide 8MP 4K resolution and PoE connectivity. The Amcrest model uses a bullet form factor, while the Real HD uses a dome design. The Real HD camera includes H.265 compression to optimize storage, a detail not listed for the Amcrest bullet camera. You should select the Amcrest if you need maximum weatherproofing for exposed outdoor installations. If you prefer a low-profile dome shape and efficient video compression, the Real HD camera offers those specific advantages for your surveillance setup.
Amcrest 4K Outdoor PoE AI Bullet Camera
The Amcrest 4K Outdoor PoE AI Bullet Camera includes color night vision and human detection AI features, which are not mentioned for the Real HD dome camera. Both cameras offer 8MP resolution and PoE connectivity. The Amcrest model uses a bullet form factor and weighs 1.5 pounds, whereas the Real HD camera is a dome shape with a 5-inch footprint. The Real HD camera supports H.265 compression for reduced file sizes, a feature not specified for the Amcrest AI model. You should choose the Amcrest if you need advanced analytics and color night vision. If you prefer a dome design with standard IR night vision and efficient compression, the Real HD option is the better fit.
Reolink 5MP PoE Outdoor Dome Camera
The Reolink 5MP PoE Outdoor Dome Camera provides smart detection and audio recording capabilities, which are not listed for the Real HD camera. Both cameras use PoE connectivity and are designed for outdoor placement. The Reolink model offers 5MP resolution, which is lower than the Real HD 8MP 4K clarity. The Real HD camera includes H.265 compression to minimize storage usage, a feature not explicitly stated for the Reolink unit. You should pick the Reolink if you prioritize smart detection and audio recording over maximum resolution.
