The marquis 4mp poe ip turret alternatives list helps you find a better fit if this camera does not match your exact needs. This model provides 4MP resolution and a wide 103-degree field of view through its fixed 2.8mm lens. It relies on PoE for power and data, which simplifies cabling for outdoor installations. The IP66 rating ensures it withstands rain and dust, while H.265 compression reduces storage requirements.

The alternatives in this guide share core specs like 4MP or 5MP resolution and PoE connectivity. They also overlap in outdoor placement and dome form factors. This selection focuses on practical differences in features like optical zoom, audio capabilities, and night vision types to help you choose based on your specific surveillance requirements.
Our top pick: Marquis 4MP Outdoor PoE Turret Dome Camera.
How these alternatives compare
Amcrest 4MP Outdoor PTZ Camera
The Amcrest 4MP Outdoor PTZ Camera replaces the Marquis fixed view with motorized pan and tilt capabilities. This allows you to remotely adjust the angle and track motion across large properties. While the Marquis offers a static 103-degree field of view, this model provides active surveillance. It requires PoE+ power, so check your switch capacity. The white dome design fits outdoor use, but you trade simplicity for the ability to zoom in on details. Choose this if you need to inspect specific areas rather than monitoring a wide zone with a fixed lens.
Amcrest 4MP Outdoor PTZ PoE+ Dome Camera
This Amcrest 4MP PTZ PoE+ Dome Camera features 5x optical zoom and AI tracking, which the Marquis lacks entirely. You get precise remote monitoring for large outdoor areas, whereas the Marquis relies on a fixed 2.8mm lens for wide coverage. The PTZ model requires PoE+ power and more complex setup, but it allows you to inspect details from a distance. The white dome housing is larger than the Marquis turret. Select this alternative if you need to follow movement or zoom in on distant objects instead of capturing a broad, static scene.
Real HD 4MP PoE Turret Camera
The Real HD 4MP PoE Turret Camera offers color night vision, a feature the standard Marquis model does not list. Both cameras provide 4MP resolution and PoE connectivity for NVR systems. The Real HD model uses a fixed lens, similar to the Marquis, but prioritizes color imaging in low light. It is a budget-friendly option for static monitoring where audio and zoom are not required. The white dome design is compact and suitable for outdoor use. Pick this camera if you need to see colors at night rather than relying on infrared illumination.
Amcrest 5MP Vandal-Resistant PoE Dome Camera
The Amcrest 5MP Vandal-Resistant PoE Dome Camera increases resolution from 4MP to 5MP for sharper image clarity. It adds robust physical durability, making it suitable for high-risk areas where the standard Marquis might be vulnerable. Both cameras use PoE and feature fixed lenses for outdoor monitoring. The Amcrest model sacrifices motorized movement for enhanced build quality and higher pixel count. The white dome design is sturdy and weather-resistant. Choose this option if you prioritize physical security and detailed image capture over the wider field of view offered by the Marquis.
Anpviz 4MP PoE Audio Dome Camera
The Anpviz 4MP PoE Audio Dome Camera includes IK10-rated vandal protection, offering greater physical security than the standard Marquis. It provides a wide 108-degree field of view, slightly wider than the Marquis 103-degree lens. Both cameras use PoE and fixed lenses for open ONVIF network compatibility. The Anpviz model adds audio recording capabilities, which the Marquis also supports. The white dome design is rugged and suitable for outdoor environments. Select this alternative if you need enhanced vandal resistance and a broader coverage angle without requiring motorized pan or tilt functions.
Vonnision 5MP PTZ Outdoor Dome Camera
The Vonnision 5MP PTZ Outdoor Dome Camera combines 5MP resolution with motorized pan, tilt, and optical zoom. This offers significantly more flexibility than the fixed 4MP Marquis camera. You can remotely control the view and zoom in on details, which the static Marquis cannot do. Both cameras use PoE for power and data transmission. The Vonnision model is larger and heavier, reflecting its motorized internals. Choose this camera if you need to actively monitor specific areas or track movement across a wide outdoor space rather than relying on a fixed, wide-angle perspective.
