How these picks differ from Lorex
This OOSSXX system includes eight cameras, whereas the Lorex U-Series comes with only three. Both use 4K resolution and PoE wiring for stable connections. The OOSSXX model provides a larger 4TB hard drive, doubling the storage capacity of the Lorex 2TB drive. You get more camera coverage and longer recording retention with this option. The Lorex U-Series focuses on smart AI detection for faces and vehicles, which helps you filter footage quickly. If you need to monitor more angles without buying extra cameras, the OOSSXX system is the better choice. It suits users who prioritize high camera counts and ample local storage over advanced smart search features.
