Who it fits

Key specs explained

Video Resolution: 5MP

This resolution captures 2560 by 1920 pixels. You get sharper images than standard 1080p cameras. Fine details like faces or license plates remain clear even when you zoom in on the footage. This helps you identify specific subjects without ambiguity. If you need to monitor large areas or read small text, this higher pixel count provides better clarity than lower resolution options.

Hard Drive Capacity: 500GB

The system includes a pre-installed 500GB hard drive. This allows for over 45 days of continuous recording from four cameras. You do not need to buy storage separately or rely solely on cloud subscriptions. This capacity suits users who want long-term local storage for security evidence. It ensures you have ample space to keep historical footage accessible for review.

Channels: 10 CH

The recorder supports up to ten channels. You currently have four cameras, but you can add more later. This flexibility allows you to expand your surveillance coverage as your needs grow. You can integrate additional bullet or PTZ cameras into the same system. This makes it a practical choice for properties where you plan to monitor more zones over time.

Placement: IP66

The cameras carry an IP66 rating for weather resistance. They are fully protected against dust and powerful water jets. This makes them suitable for outdoor installation in rain or snow. You can place them on eaves or walls without worrying about weather damage. This durability ensures reliable performance in various outdoor environments throughout the year.

Night Vision Type: Color Night Vision

The cameras feature built-in floodlights for color night vision. You can see full-color footage even in low-light conditions. This helps distinguish clothing colors or vehicle paint, which black-and-white night vision cannot. The lights activate to provide clarity when motion is detected. This feature is useful for identifying details that monochrome cameras might miss in the dark.

Design and Build Overview

The Hiseeu 5MP Wireless 4-Camera System arrives as a six-piece set. According to the listing, the package includes four 5MP cameras and a 500GB hard drive. The cameras carry an IP66 rating, which means they are waterproof and dust-tight. This specification allows you to mount them in outdoor environments without worrying about rain or debris damaging the internal components.

The physical dimensions of the set measure 6.9 inches in width, 10.6 inches in height, and 12.4 inches in length. The total weight is 4.41 pounds. This weight distribution suggests a sturdy build for the included components, though you will need appropriate mounting hardware for the cameras themselves. The system model is identified as WK-4HB312-AT, and the color option is listed as four 5MP cameras with a 500GB HDD.

Connectivity is wireless, relying on WiFi modules for video transmission. The listing notes enhanced stability and lower latency with this wireless pro technology. You can connect the cameras easily to your WiFi network. The system supports up to 10 channels, so you can add more bullet or PTZ cameras later if needed. This design choice allows for scalable monitoring without requiring complex rewiring for each new addition.

Setup And Everyday Use Guide

Setup begins with connecting the NVR to your router. The system uses a WiFi module for wireless communication between cameras and the recorder. This reduces cable clutter compared to wired alternatives. The cameras and NVR are paired before shipping, which simplifies initial configuration. You can extend the system to ten channels by adding more bullet or PTZ cameras if needed. The listing notes a wireless range of more than 100 feet, suggesting stable video transmission with lower latency. For daily use, the HiseeCloud app allows remote viewing on smartphones. You can stream video in real time and access recorded footage from anywhere. The app supports two-way audio, letting you speak through the camera. The system records 24/7 using the pre-installed 500GB hard drive. This capacity provides over 45 days of reliable recording. Night vision relies on built-in floodlights to produce color footage in low light. You can receive email alerts or app notifications when motion is detected. The waterproof IP66 rating ensures the cameras withstand outdoor weather conditions. You can backup videos or use sync-playback features within the app. The setup process focuses on network connectivity and app installation. Once online, the system operates autonomously for continuous monitoring. You manage settings and view feeds through the mobile application. The wireless design keeps installation straightforward without extensive wiring. The expandable channel count allows future growth without replacing the main recorder.

Before you buy this system

You should verify your home network strength before installation. The cameras rely on a stable WiFi connection for smooth video transmission. Weak signals may cause latency or dropped frames. Ensure your router can handle the data load from four simultaneous streams. You must also check local laws regarding audio recording. Two-way audio is available, but consent laws vary by region. Regular upkeep includes checking the IP66 seals on the cameras. Dust or debris can block lenses and floodlights. Clean the exterior gently with a soft cloth. This system suits users who want expandable storage and color night vision. It fits well if you need more than four cameras later. The NVR supports up to ten channels. You can add bullet or PTZ cameras as your security needs grow. Consider your specific monitoring zones when planning placement. Proper positioning ensures the floodlights illuminate key areas effectively.

Check before you buy

• Check WiFi signal strength at camera locations
• Verify local audio recording laws
• Confirm router capacity for four streams
• Plan expansion needs for additional channels
• Ensure outdoor placement allows lens cleaning
