Hiseeu vs Funxwe Camera Specs
Resolution and clarity
Funxwe offers 5MP resolution at 2560x1920 pixels, providing sharper details than Hiseeu’s 3MP output at 2304x1296. Both cameras deliver clear daytime video, but the higher pixel count on the Funxwe model allows for better zooming without significant loss of quality. This difference matters when you need to identify faces or license plates from a distance. Hiseeu’s fixed resolution is sufficient for general monitoring, while Funxwe’s higher spec supports closer inspection of specific areas.
Form factor and movement
Funxwe uses a PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) design with 350-degree horizontal pan and 120-degree vertical tilt. This allows remote control to cover a wide area. Hiseeu provides a fixed bullet camera with a 3.6mm lens and a 78-degree viewing angle. The Hiseeu unit cannot move, so you must position it carefully to cover your desired zone. Funxwe’s moving head offers flexible coverage, while Hiseeu relies on static placement for a fixed field of view.
Zoom capabilities
Funxwe includes 5x optical zoom with auto-focus, enabling you to get closer to distant subjects without losing image quality. Hiseeu does not list optical zoom capabilities in its specifications. It relies on its fixed 3.6mm lens for a wide 78-degree view. If you need to monitor details far away, Funxwe’s optical zoom is a significant advantage. Hiseeu is better suited for wide-area monitoring where zooming is not a priority.
Connectivity options
Funxwe supports dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, along with Bluetooth connectivity. This provides flexibility in network setup and potentially more stable connections depending on your router. Hiseeu is listed as wireless but does not specify band support or Bluetooth. The dual-band support on Funxwe helps avoid interference common in crowded 2.4GHz bands. Hiseeu’s connectivity is standard wireless, which may be sufficient but offers fewer options for optimization.
System compatibility
Hiseeu cameras are designed to work only with specific Hiseeu wireless security camera systems. They cannot operate independently or with other brands. Funxwe supports Onvif, RTSP, and DDNS, allowing compatibility with various NVRs, Blue Iris, and other third-party software. This makes Funxwe more versatile for users who want to mix and match equipment. Hiseeu locks you into its ecosystem, while Funxwe offers broader integration possibilities.
Night vision technology
Funxwe features color night vision using infrared and white light LEDs, with an IR distance of 160ft. It also includes a spotlight alert. Hiseeu uses 3 array IR-LEDs with 850nm infrared lights for night vision. While both provide night coverage, Funxwe’s color night vision can capture more detail in low light by using white light. Hiseeu’s infrared approach is standard for black-and-white night viewing. Funxwe offers more advanced lighting options for better night clarity.
