Who it fits

Key specs explained for this kit

Resolution: 5MP

This resolution captures more detail than standard 1080p cameras. You will see clearer images of faces and license plates. The higher pixel count helps you identify specific features in crowded areas. When shopping, compare this to 2MP or 4MP models. Choose 5MP if you need sharp close-ups for identification purposes in your home security setup.

Camera Count: 4 Cameras

This kit includes four distinct cameras for simultaneous monitoring. You can place them at different entry points or corners of your property. This count covers most standard home layouts without needing extra purchases. Compare this to single-camera kits if you need broader coverage. Four units provide a balanced view for typical residential surveillance needs.

Connectivity: Wireless

These cameras connect to your network without video cables. Installation is simpler since you only need power sources. You can place them in locations where running long cables is difficult. Compare this to wired systems that require drilling and complex routing. Wireless options offer flexibility for renters or those avoiding messy wiring in their home.

1TB HDD

The pre-installed hard drive stores video locally without monthly fees. It supports over 45 days of continuous recording for this four-camera system. You retain full control over your footage without cloud subscriptions. Compare this to cloud-only services that charge recurring costs. This spec ensures long-term storage capacity for your security records.

Design and build details

According to the listing, the Hiseeu 5MP 4-Cam Wireless System measures 7.5 inches in width, 8 inches in height, and 10.5 inches in length. These dimensions apply to the NVR unit. The model number is WK-4HD405-AT. The listing does not specify the weight of the cameras or the recorder. It also does not list the materials used in the casing. You must rely on the provided dimensions to plan your mounting locations. The physical size suggests a standard desktop or wall-mount placement for the main unit.

The cameras feature a PTZ design that rotates 355 degrees horizontally and 95 degrees vertically. This mechanical range eliminates blind spots without requiring you to reposition the hardware. The listing notes an IP66 waterproof rating. This specification means the cameras can withstand rain and dust, allowing for outdoor installation. You can place them under eaves or on exterior walls without immediate concern for weather damage.

The system uses a 10-channel NVR with a pre-installed 1TB hard drive. This internal storage layout supports 24/7 recording without external drives. The H.265+ technology reduces storage usage. This means you can keep footage longer than with older formats. The listing states the cameras require a plugged-in power source and do not run on solar power. You need access to electrical outlets for each camera position. The design prioritizes continuous recording and wide coverage over wireless power flexibility.

Setup and everyday use

You need to connect the cameras to a power source. The listing notes that these units do not run on solar power. You must plug them in. Once powered, you install the Hisee Cloud app on your phone. The app is available on Google Play or the Apple Store. You then connect the system to your internet. This setup allows remote viewing. You can check live footage from anywhere. The NVR supports 10 camera channels. This kit includes four cameras. You can add more later if needed. The system records 24/7 to a pre-installed 1TB hard drive. This storage holds over 45 days of video. The H.265+ technology saves space without lowering quality. You get clear images even at night. The full color night vision helps in dark areas. Smart PIR detection sends alerts when it sees people. The app lets you speak to visitors. The cameras rotate 355 degrees horizontally. They tilt 95 degrees vertically. This PTZ feature removes blind spots. The 120-degree viewing angle covers wide areas. The IP66 waterproof rating allows outdoor use. You can place them outside without worry. The system outputs 4K video to your monitor. You do not pay monthly fees for cloud storage. The hard drive handles local recording. You receive a user guide with the kit. A 12-month warranty is included. Support is available via chat, email, or phone. This setup is straightforward if you follow the guide. Daily use involves checking the app for alerts. You can review past footage anytime. The system works reliably for home security.

Before You Buy This Kit

You need to ensure your Wi-Fi network can handle four simultaneous video streams. The cameras require a constant power source, so you must have accessible outlets near each mounting location. Since the system uses the Hisee Cloud app, check that your smartphone is compatible with recent iOS or Android versions. You should also verify that your router supports the bandwidth needed for 5MP resolution without lag. The included 1TB hard drive offers ample storage, but you may want extra drives for longer retention if you record continuously. This kit suits users who want a complete, wired wireless solution with PTZ flexibility. It differs from solar options by requiring electrical connections. It also contrasts with single-camera systems by offering full 10-channel NVR support. Consider your home’s layout to place cameras where the 355-degree rotation is most useful. Proper placement minimizes blind spots and maximizes the value of the smart PIR detection feature.

Check before you buy

• Confirm power outlets are near all four camera locations.
• Check router bandwidth supports four 5MP streams simultaneously.
• Verify smartphone compatibility with the Hisee Cloud app.
• Ensure Wi-Fi signal strength reaches each outdoor mount point.
