6 Best Alternatives to the Hiseeu 5MP Wireless Outdoor Floodlight (2026)

How each alternative compares

The Hiseeu 5MP Add-On Bullet Camera shares the same 5MP resolution and wireless connectivity as the original floodlight model. It uses the same TZ-HB612 model series and offers sharp video quality for outdoor monitoring. However, this unit lacks the built-in floodlight and full-color night vision features found in the original. It is designed strictly as an expansion for existing Hiseeu wireless systems rather than a standalone device. You cannot use it alone with the EseeCloud app without a compatible NVR. If you already own a Hiseeu system and need extra coverage, this is a practical choice. It gives up standalone flexibility and illumination for a lower profile form factor that fits into your current setup.

The Tapo 5MP Pan/Tilt Camera offers the same 5MP resolution but adds mechanical movement capabilities the original lacks. You get active tracking and AI sound detection for smarter monitoring. This model supports two-way audio and integrates with Alexa and Google Assistant, expanding your smart home options. It is smaller and lighter, weighing just 1.04 pounds, making it easier to place in various locations. While it provides color night vision similar to the floodlight's full-color mode, it does not include a bright floodlight for deterrence. You trade physical illumination for the ability to pan and tilt remotely. This camera is ideal if you want to cover a wider area with smart alerts rather than relying on a fixed wide-angle view.

Arlo Essential 2nd Gen Wireless 2K Spotlight Camera

The Arlo Essential 2nd Gen delivers 2K resolution, which is lower than the original's 5MP detail. It includes a spotlight for color night vision, offering similar illumination capabilities but with a different form factor. This two-camera pack provides better value for covering multiple entry points. It features two-way audio and weather resistance suitable for outdoor use. However, it relies on subscription-based storage, whereas the original allows for local NVR recording. You get dual cameras instead of one high-resolution unit. This option suits users who prioritize color night vision and multi-camera coverage over maximum pixel density. It gives up the high-resolution clarity of the Hiseeu for broader area coverage and smart assistant integration.

The Amcrest 5MP Vandal-Resistant PoE Dome Camera matches the original's 5MP resolution but uses a wired PoE connection instead of wireless. This provides more reliable power and data transmission without Wi-Fi interference. The dome form factor offers better tamper resistance, making it suitable for high-traffic areas. It lacks the built-in floodlight and two-way audio features of the original. You sacrifice wireless convenience and smart app control for physical durability and consistent video quality. This camera is ideal for users who prioritize wired reliability and vandal protection over remote monitoring flexibility. It gives up the wireless ease of setup for a robust, fixed installation that resists physical damage.

Arlo Pro 5S 2K Outdoor Spotlight Camera

The Arlo Pro 5S 2K Outdoor Spotlight Camera provides 2K resolution, falling short of the original's 5MP clarity. It includes a spotlight for color night vision and two-way audio, matching some of the original's communication features. This model supports dual-band Wi-Fi for more stable connectivity than the original's 2.4GHz limit. It is compact and comes in black, offering a discreet appearance. However, it requires a subscription for cloud storage and lacks local NVR compatibility. You trade high-resolution detail for flexible placement and dual-band reliability. This camera suits users who want color night vision and smart features without the bulk of a floodlight. It gives up maximum video sharpness for easier installation and modern connectivity.

The REOLINK Argus Solar 5MP Camera matches the original's 5MP resolution and offers solar power instead of a DC adapter. This allows for completely wire-free installation, ideal for areas with limited power access. It supports local storage via microSD, avoiding subscription fees. The camera includes night vision but lacks the bright floodlight for deterrence. It is larger and heavier, weighing 1.32 pounds, with a bulkier design. You gain power independence and local storage but lose the active illumination feature. This option is best for users who need reliable, wire-free surveillance with sharp video. It gives up the floodlight's deterrent effect for the convenience of solar charging and flexible placement.
