Who it fits
Good fit for
You will like this kit if you want high-resolution footage without a wired NVR setup. The 5MP resolution captures fine details, while the 2.4GHz WiFi connection simplifies installation. The two-way audio is useful for greeting visitors or deterring intruders. It also suits users who already have a Hiseeu wireless NVR system, as these cameras connect directly to it. The remote viewing feature works globally through the Eseecloud app.
Who should skip it
Skip this option if you need 5GHz WiFi support, as it only connects to 2.4GHz networks. You should also look elsewhere if you require color night vision, since these cameras rely on infrared LEDs. Users needing a local display or SD card slot for storage will find this model lacking. Additionally, if you prefer a different app ecosystem than Eseecloud, this product may not fit your preferences.
Verdict: The Hiseeu 5MP Wi-Fi Security Cameras 2-Pack offers clear video and easy remote access for simple setups. It is a solid choice for users who prioritize resolution and two-way audio over advanced connectivity options.
Hiseeu 5MP Camera Specs Explained
Video Resolution: 5MP (2592×1944)
This resolution provides sharper images than standard 1080p cameras. You will see finer details like faces or license plates more clearly. The 2592×1944 pixel count ensures better clarity in recorded footage. This is useful if you need to zoom in on digital recordings without losing too much detail. Choose this if image sharpness is your priority over storage size.
Connectivity: 2.4GHz WiFi
The camera connects to your home network using the 2.4GHz frequency band. This band typically offers better range through walls than 5GHz, making it suitable for outdoor placements. However, it may be slower in congested areas. Ensure your router supports this band. It allows for wireless installation without running Ethernet cables to each camera location.
Night Vision Type: Infrared
The camera uses infrared LEDs to illuminate scenes in total darkness. It captures black-and-white images at night, ensuring you can see activity even when lights are off. The listing notes three IR LEDs for this purpose. This feature is essential for 24/7 monitoring. It allows you to check your property securely without relying on visible light.
Camera Count: 2
The package includes two individual cameras. This allows you to monitor two distinct areas, such as a front door and a backyard. You can place them at different angles to cover more ground. This count is ideal for small to medium-sized homes. You will need to configure each camera separately in the app for independent viewing.
Power Source: DC12V power adapter
Each camera requires a DC12V power adapter for operation. You must plug the adapter into a nearby electrical outlet. This means you need accessible power sources at your installation spots. It is not battery-powered, so you cannot place it where electricity is unavailable. Plan your camera locations based on outlet proximity during setup.
Design and Build Overview
According to the listing, these cameras come in a black and white finish. The model is the TZ-HB312. Each unit measures 9.05 inches in length, 4.72 inches in width, and 2.36 inches in height. The cameras connect via 2.4GHz WiFi. You power them using a DC12V adapter. This wired power setup ensures stable operation. It avoids battery replacement needs. The design supports direct WiFi connection or integration into a Hiseeu wireless NVR system. You can add them to an 8-channel system by resetting the camera. This offers flexibility in how you deploy the hardware.

You then input the password 11111111. After that, you select your home WiFi name and enter its password. This process links the camera to your local network. You can also view footage on Windows or MAC systems using the Eseecloud software. Contact support for the software link. These cameras operate independently with a DC12V power adapter. They also integrate with Hiseeu wireless NVR systems. To pair with an 8-channel system, you reset the camera for six to ten seconds. You wait for the IP address to appear. Daily use relies on the Eseecloud app for remote viewing. You can see real-time images and hear audio from anywhere with internet access. The built-in microphone and speaker enable two-way communication. You can speak to guests or deter unwanted visitors. The infrared night vision uses three 850nm LEDs. Before You Buy These Cameras
Before you buy, check your network. These cameras require a 2.4GHz WiFi connection. They do not support 5GHz bands. You need a stable signal at each mount location. Weak signals cause dropped feeds. You also need DC12V power adapters for each unit. The listing includes two cameras. Plan your wiring accordingly. These bullet cameras fit well alongside other Hiseeu wireless systems. If you own an 8-channel NVR, you can add them directly. You do not need a separate recorder for basic use. The Eseecloud app handles remote viewing. Check your local laws on recording. Rules vary by state. Keep the lens clean. Dust and debris block the infrared LEDs. This affects night vision clarity. Regular maintenance ensures consistent performance. This prevents connection issues. The system is designed for home security. It is not for professional surveillance. Verify your internet speed. Slow uploads limit video quality.
