Specifications side by side

OHWOAI Security Camera Models Compared

You can choose between wired PoE and wireless kits based on your power needs. The OHWOAI 5MP PoE 4-Camera System provides reliable cabling and two-way audio. For areas without outlets, the 6-Cam Solar PTZ Kit offers full rotation and color night vision. These options suit users seeking either maximum clarity or flexible placement.

Resolution and storage capacity further divide the lineup. The 8-Camera 4K Wired PTZ System delivers high-definition surveillance for large spaces. If you require extensive local storage, the 6-Camera 5MP Wireless System includes a 3TB hard drive. Each model addresses specific requirements for placement, connectivity, and recording duration.

Where OHWOAI Fits Your Needs

OHWOAI covers small to large outdoor setups. You can start with a four-camera PoE kit or scale up to an eight-camera 4K array. The range includes wired PoE systems for reliability and wireless options for flexibility. Solar-powered PTZ units suit areas without power outlets. All models include local hard drives, eliminating monthly fees. You get two-way audio on select models. Color night vision is available on the solar kit. None of these systems offer indoor placement or battery-only operation without solar support. Choose based on your wiring access and resolution needs.

How to choose the right OHWOAI camera

1. Match resolution to your needs

Resolution determines how much detail you capture. The OHWOAI 8-Camera 4K Wired PTZ System offers the highest clarity for large outdoor areas. You get sharp images that make identifying faces or license plates easier. If you do not need that level of detail, the 5MP options provide solid clarity at a lower bandwidth cost. Choose 4K only if you plan to zoom in on recorded footage. Lower resolutions like 5MP are often sufficient for general monitoring. Select based on how much detail you actually require for your security goals.

2. Decide on power source

Power source dictates installation complexity. Wired PoE systems like the OHWOAI 5MP PoE 4-Camera System use a single cable for data and power. This ensures reliable operation without battery worries. For locations without electrical outlets, the 6-Cam Solar PTZ Kit uses solar panels. This allows wired-free outdoor monitoring. Solar units require sunlight to maintain charge. You must check the placement for adequate sun exposure. Wired systems are better for continuous recording. Solar kits offer flexibility where wiring is impossible. Choose based on your available power infrastructure.

3. Check connectivity options

Connectivity affects reliability and setup. PoE systems use ethernet cables for stable connections. The OHWOAI 5MP PoE system is ideal for wired reliability. Wireless systems use WiFi for flexible placement. The 6-Camera 5MP Wireless System relies on your home network. Ensure your WiFi signal reaches all camera locations. Weak signals can cause dropped recordings. Wired connections generally offer better stability. Wireless kits are easier to install but depend on network strength. Evaluate your WiFi coverage before choosing a wireless option. Stable connectivity ensures you do not miss important events.

4. Consider storage capacity

Storage determines how long you keep footage. Most systems include a 1TB hard drive. The OHWOAI 6-Camera 5MP Wireless System includes a larger 3TB HDD. More storage allows for longer retention periods. Higher resolution video files take up more space. If you record in 4K, you fill storage faster. Check the included HDD size against your retention needs. A 1TB drive may fill quickly with multiple high-res cameras. Larger drives suit users who want to keep weeks of footage. Match storage to your local recording requirements.

5. Evaluate camera count and form

Camera count and form factor shape your coverage. The 8-Camera 4K Wired System covers large areas with eight units. The 6-Cam Solar PTZ Kit includes PTZ cameras for full rotation. PTZ units allow you to pan and tilt remotely. Fixed cameras cover a specific angle. Choose based on the size of your property. More cameras provide broader coverage but increase complexity. PTZ units offer flexibility for large spaces. Fixed cameras are simpler to install. Consider the number of angles you need to monitor. Select a kit that matches your property size.
