Choosing the Right ELYSOO Camera

1. Match Connectivity to Site

Your internet access determines the correct model. Remote properties without WiFi require the ELYSOO 2K Solar 4G LTE Security Camera for cellular data. Sites with existing wireless networks can use standard wireless cameras. The 4MP Solar Cellular Camera offers flexible connectivity without wiring constraints. Check your site’s signal strength before deciding. Cellular models need data plans. Wireless models need a strong router signal nearby. Choose based on your location's infrastructure.

2. Select Resolution for Clarity

Resolution defines video detail. The 4K Solar 4-Cam Kit delivers high-resolution video for users who want clear footage. The 2K and 4MP models offer lower resolution but remain practical for general monitoring. Higher resolution captures more detail but may require more storage. Consider your viewing distance. If you need to identify faces or license plates, choose 4K. For general area monitoring, 2K or 4MP is sufficient. Match the resolution to your security needs.

3. Check Power Source Options

All listed ELYSOO cameras use solar power. This allows for off-grid monitoring without electrical wiring. Solar power suits remote properties or areas without nearby outlets. You must ensure the cameras receive adequate sunlight. Check the installation angle for optimal charging. Solar power eliminates monthly electricity costs. It also simplifies installation by removing the need for electrical work. Verify that your chosen spot has sufficient sun exposure for reliable operation.

4. Decide on Camera Count

The number of cameras affects coverage area. The 4K Solar 4-Cam Kit includes four cameras for wide coverage. Single camera models suit smaller areas or specific entry points. More cameras provide broader surveillance but increase complexity. Consider the size of your property. A single camera may suffice for a porch. A large yard may require multiple units. Choose the kit that matches your coverage requirements without unnecessary hardware.

5. Evaluate Storage Needs

Storage method impacts long-term costs. The 4K Solar 4-Cam Kit supports local storage for users who want to avoid monthly fees. Other models may rely on cloud storage or different methods. Local storage offers privacy and one-time costs. Cloud storage may offer remote access but requires subscriptions. Check the specific storage options for each model. Ensure you have the necessary media for local recording. Align your storage choice with your budget and privacy preferences.
