6 Best Alternatives to the Amcrest 4K Outdoor PoE Bullet (2026)

How each alternative compares

Amcrest 4K PoE AI Bullet Camera 2-Pack

The Amcrest 4K PoE AI Bullet Camera 2-Pack shares the same 4K resolution and PoE connectivity as the original. It retains the bullet form factor and outdoor placement for consistent weather resistance. This model emphasizes advanced AI detection capabilities for users who need precise human identification. You get the same wide-area coverage with smart alerts. The main difference lies in the specific AI processing improvements. It is ideal if you want the same reliable wired setup but with enhanced detection accuracy. The packaging remains a two-camera bundle, maintaining the value proposition for larger perimeters. It suits those who prioritize detailed recognition over simple motion tracking.

Amcrest 5MP PoE AI Bullet Camera

The Amcrest 5MP PoE AI Bullet Camera reduces resolution from 4K to 5MP, offering a more modest pixel count. It maintains the PoE connectivity and bullet shape for outdoor use. You get AI detection and color night vision, similar to the original. The trade-off is lower image clarity for distant objects. This model is lighter and smaller, fitting tight spaces better. It is best for budget-conscious users who do not need the highest resolution. The AI features remain robust for alerting purposes. You sacrifice the ultra-high definition for a more affordable entry point. It works well for areas where fine detail is less critical than reliable motion detection and wired stability.

Amcrest 4K Outdoor PoE AI Bullet Camera

The Amcrest 4K Outdoor PoE AI Bullet Camera offers single-unit coverage instead of a two-pack. It keeps the 4K resolution and PoE connectivity for high-quality surveillance. The bullet form factor ensures consistent outdoor durability. You gain the benefit of a single, focused camera for specific points of interest. This model is suitable for users who need precise human or vehicle detection in one area. It lacks the wide-area coverage of the two-camera bundle. The single-unit design simplifies installation for smaller zones. You trade quantity for concentrated detail. It is ideal for monitoring a specific gate or entrance where wide-angle views are unnecessary. The AI tracking remains a key feature for accurate event filtering.

Anpviz 4MP PoE Bullet Camera

The Anpviz 4MP PoE Bullet Camera drops to 4MP resolution, providing 1440p clarity instead of 4K. It retains PoE connectivity and the bullet shape for outdoor mounting. You get color night vision and human detection, similar to the original. The key advantage is its compatibility with third-party ONVIF and Blue Iris systems. This model is better for users who do not want to be locked into the Amcrest ecosystem. It offers 100-foot spotlight night vision for clear low-light imaging. You sacrifice the highest resolution for broader system integration. The metal housing ensures weather resistance. It is a solid choice for those building a multi-brand surveillance network with reliable wired connectivity and smart alerts.

Real HD 8MP 4K PoE Bullet Camera

The Real HD 8MP 4K PoE Bullet Camera matches the original resolution and PoE connectivity. It uses a bullet form factor for outdoor placement. You get color night vision and high-resolution imaging for detailed surveillance. The main difference is its compatibility with third-party NVRs rather than Amcrest systems. This model is not suitable for users relying on Amcrest or Lorex software. It is best for those who need 4K quality with open standards. The fixed lens design provides consistent coverage without moving parts. You trade ecosystem integration for flexibility in recording hardware. The 8MP sensor delivers sharp images for identification purposes. It is ideal for users who want high resolution without proprietary software constraints.

SUNBA 4K Mini PTZ 20x Zoom

The SUNBA 4K Mini PTZ 20x Zoom differs significantly with its pan-tilt-zoom form factor. It offers 4K resolution and PoE connectivity for high-quality video. You gain optical zoom capabilities to focus on distant details, which the original bullet camera cannot do. This model includes two-way audio for communication. The color night vision ensures visibility in low light. You trade fixed wide-angle coverage for flexible positioning and zoom. It is best for monitoring large outdoor areas where you need to inspect specific details remotely. The PTZ mechanism allows you to scan wider perimeters. It is ideal for users who need dynamic monitoring rather than static wide-area coverage. The optical zoom provides clarity that digital zoom cannot match.
